The End

This is the end of a story, a song, an era.  Well, a short era.

I'm closing up shop and moving on.  As of August 31, 2012, Efflorescence will no longer be in operation.

Thanks to everyone that loved my work, thanks to every bride that I had the opportunity to work for.

I've enjoyed every minute, but it's my time to go.

Purple and Blue Wedding

Mother of the Bride's corsage - white dendrobium orchid, purple posy calla lily, and greens.

Corsages & Boutonnieres

My favorite corsages and bouts to make are simple and elegant. These ones are from the red and white wedding. Simple calla lilies with greens and other small flowers, finished with a ribbon to wrap the stem.

White and Red

Red and Orange

Black baccara roses, orange-red calla lilies, burgundy orchids, cherry brandy roses, and peach spray roses, and ivy made this a beautiful summer bouquet.

Simple Sparkle

Simple and beautiful red roses with jeweled centres add sophistication with that little touch of sparkle.

Right: Here is an example of a different way that I hand-tie the bouquets; rather than the plain ribbon, I use a complimentary color (or in this case a tartan) and knot it around the handle, adding extra interest and beauty. It might be hard to see because it's mostly navy, but it definitely adds to the overall look.
